This is a traditional Dutch treat only made by us in November and December.  Its a type of bar that is made with honey and anise seed.  Its made of the same dough used to make Papernotten which SinterKlaas would leave ot the doorstep with "drop" and and orange in your "Klompen" to usher in the Christmas season.
